Sunday Salon at Swirl Wine Bistro on 10.27.19

As a writing coach, M.J. has helped others write their way through trauma; she's worked (among others) with veterans, inmates, victims of domestic and sexual violence, and individuals with chronic illness.

On Sunday, October 27, at 4pm, she's having a Happy, Okay? talk at Swirl Wine Bistro. She's going to read some poems from the book, of course, but she will also discuss how you can use writing to overcome anxiety and gain BOSS LEVEL confidence.

Life doesn’t always deal us the perfect hand. But we can still be Happy, Okay?

On October 27th , M.J. Fievre is the featured poet reading from her new book, Happy Okay?: Poems about Anxiety, Depression, Hope & Survival. Also reading this evening is Laura McDermott, author of Visions on Alligator Alley: Ekphrastic Poem in Verse.
